In 2010, Cindy and her co-founder, started Vado, Inc, an e-learning courseware provider. Vado grew to be an internationally known, award-winning training provider specializing in leadership development, employee business skills, sexual harassment, and diversity training content. In 2020, Vado was purchased by HSI, and Cindy exited the business at the end of 2021.

Prior to founding Vado, Cindy has a deep and diverse career in HR and Training. She started her career as an HR Generalist and over 16 years, she grew her HR expertise to lead the HR function for a mid-sized computer software and services company. After she left HR as a practitioner, she headed the Sales & Marketing function for an assessment services company and later was promoted to President & COO. Building on her successes, she was recruited to lead an assessment company as the CEO and later to a training company as the SVP of Business Development.

Cindy was a 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021 LearningElite Judge for Human Capital Media. In addition, she is on the Advisory Board for HR.com. Cindy has an MBA with an HR Concentration from the University of St. Thomas and a BA from the University of WI. She graduated with honors from both universities.
