IHRIM Education IHRIM's events are certified for credit hours toward HRIP recertification.  Many IHRIM events are certified for recertification credit hours toward PHR, SPHR and GPHR recertification through the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI).  The use of the HRCI seal is not an endorsement by the HR Certification Institute of the quality of the program. It means that this program has met the HR Certification Institute’s criteria to be pre-approved for recertification credit.

IHRIM’s educational events may be eligible for credits towards CHRP recertification.

In the spring of 2011, Bersin & Associates surveyed more than a thousand people – representing companies of all sizes and industries – to gauge their experience in using software to improve their talent management efforts. Effects of Generational Distance on Employee Work-Related Attitudes

Generational distance represents the number of generations between an employee and his or her immediate manager. The current study explores the effect of generational distance on employee self-ratings of employee engagement, job satisfaction, job enablement, manager effectiveness, and intent to stay. Generational distance had some unexpected effects on these constructs.
