As an active member, you know the value that your membership provides in advancing your career and supporting your profession. The IHRIM Member-Get-a-Member Campaign provides the ideal opportunity for you to share that value with your colleagues. By tapping into your network of colleagues and encouraging them to join IHRIM, you strengthen the IHRIM community. The greater our numbers, the increased opportunities IHRIM has to develop new and enhanced programs to support our members and the profession.

Through December 31, 2014, you are invited to spread the word by referring colleagues, business associates and other HR information management professionals for membership—and to receive rewards through IHRIM’s Member-Get-a-Member referral program.

1 First member you recruit
Earn $10 Amazon.com gift card

2 Second member you recruit
Earn $15 Amazon.com gift card

3 Third member you recruit
Earn $20 Amazon.com gift card

4 Fourth member you recruit
Earn $25 Amazon.com gift card

5 Fifth member you recruit
Earn $30 Amazon.com gift card plus a free membership renewal

6-9 Sixth through Ninth member you recruit
Earn $35 Amazon.com gift card for each new member

10 Tenth member you recruit
Earn $35 Amazon.com gift card plus a complimentary full conference registration
(2014 or 2015 based on timing of new member join date)

Note: Amazon.com gift cards will be given out at the end of each quarter.

You will also be eligible for our quarterly prize drawing of a $100 American Express gift card.

On December 31, 2014, the Top Recruiter will have earned him/herself a trip to the IHRIM 2015 Conference to join in the celebration of our 35th anniversary. (Prize includes complimentary conference registration, three nights hotel stay, airport transfer to and from the hotel and stipend for travel.)

How the Campaign Works
Tell your colleagues and business associates how you have benefited from your IHRIM membership and suggest they visit www.ihrim.org to learn more about membership and how to join. Or simply download the New Member Application and give it to colleagues you feel would benefit from an IHRIM membership.

If they decide to apply for membership, they will need to include your name in the "Referred by" box on the membership application form or on the online new member form.

If they join, YOU get the credit. And we keep track of your recruitment activity for you. It's that easy.

Prefer to Refer?
Sometimes, it may be more convenient or more appropriate for you to provide us with contact information for an individual who is a candidate for membership, and we take the next step. IHRIM has made it easy for you to refer a colleague – simply fill out the information on our Online Referral Form and the IHRIM membership team will do the rest.

Whether you recruit or refer, you will be contributing to the growth of IHRIM. And you will have the potential to earn valuable awards!

Program Rules
• Only active members in good-standing are eligible to participate in the Member-Get-a-Member program.

• Program is valid for regular new membership categories only. New student and faculty members and corporate member replacements do not qualify. (New corporate memberships or new members added to a corporate membership do qualify.)

• Program is not valid on renewals. Reinstated memberships qualify for credit. Reinstatements are defined as memberships that have not been active for at least 12 months since their new join date.

• To receive credit for a recruit/referral, the new member must include the referring member’s name. If IHRIM cannot verify the identity of the referring member’s name, no credit will be received for that application.

• If two members refer the same individual, the member whose referral we receive first will be credited.

• Program valid for memberships received or postmarked with payment by December 31, 2014.

• IHRIM Board of Directors are not eligible to win the $100 raffles or Top Recruiter Prize. The IHRIM staff are not eligible to participate.

• In the event of a tie, the Top Recruiter will be determined by a random drawing.

• Program rules and incentives are subject to change by IHRIM.
