The IHRIM group room block at Disney's Contemporary Resort is
closed and the hotel is sold out on select conference dates. Rooms are
available at the Wilderness Lodge for the group rate of $195. The
Wilderness Lodge is a few minutes drive from the
Contemporary Resort or can be reached by a short boat ride across the lake
or by transit bus to the Magic Kingdom and a quick walk over to the
Contemporary.

A credit card is required at the time of booking and a deposit equal to one night’s room and tax will be charged. In order to receive a refund of your deposit, cancellations must be made five (5) days prior to your arrival date.

Air Travel

The Orlando International Airport (MCO) is the closest
(24.4 miles) commercial airport to Walt Disney World and the Contemporary
Resort Hotel.
There are several ways to get to Disney's Contemporary Resort from the Orlando International Airport:
Disney’s Magical Express Transportation: This special complimentary transportation and luggage delivery service takes you from Orlando International Airport to the Contemporary Resort and back upon your return—and they take care of the luggage right from the plane to your guest room. Travel time is approximately 45 to 75 minutes. In order to utilize this service, a Disney’s Magical Express reservation is required and must be arranged prior to arrival at the airport. From Orlando International Airport, take OIA South exit (FL 417S - Toll) to Osceola Parkway West (exit 3) to Walt Disney World Exits.
Shuttle: Mears Airport Shuttle is available from Orlando International Airport to the Contemporary Resort. Tickets may be purchased at the time of boarding. Mears Transportation is located on Level 1 at the far ends of “A” and “B” side of each terminal. For return to the airport, make reservations 24 hours in advance and allow a minimum of 2 hours before flight time.
Taxi - One way taxi fare from the airport to the Contemporary Resort is approximately $60-$70 USD.
