Disney's Contemporary Resort is an ultra-modern Disney Deluxe Resort, made up of a towering A-frame high-rise building—the iconic Contemporary Tower—and complemented by a garden wing annex. This lakeside Resort is the only hotel to have the Walt Disney World® Monorail System pass through the main lobby. Adjacent to the Resort is Disney's Contemporary Convention Center, where IHRIM's conference activities will take place.
The Resort features pools, restaurants, recreational facilities, a health club, tennis courts, watercraft rentals, a 24-hour high-tech game room and a 17-foot-high curving water slide. There's even a wading pool for little ones. Whether your wish is to relax on the white-sand beach by the pools, indulge in a revitalizing massage or savor sensational food as you take in stunning views, Disney's Contemporary Resort is sure to meet all your needs.
Standard guest rooms include two queen beds or a king bed, iPod docking station, flatscreen TV, ceiling fan, refrigerator, iron and board, coffee maker, wall safe, and telephone with voice mail. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in all guest rooms and common places throughout hotel. All guest rooms are non-smoking.

occupancy) plus tax will be available until May 9, 2013 or until the group block is sold-out, whichever comes

A credit card is required at the time of booking and a deposit equal to one night’s room and tax will be charged. In order to receive a refund of your deposit, cancellations must be made 72 hours prior to your arrival date.

The Orlando International Airport (MCO) is the closest
(24.4 miles) commercial airport to Walt Disney World and the Contemporary
Resort Hotel.
There are several ways to get to Disney's Contemporary Resort from the Orlando International Airport:
Disney’s Magical Express Transportation: This special complimentary transportation and luggage delivery service takes you from Orlando International Airport to the Contemporary Resort and back upon your return—and they take care of the luggage right from the plane to your guest room. Travel time is approximately 45 to 75 minutes. In order to utilize this service, a Disney’s Magical Express reservation is required and must be arranged prior to arrival at the airport.

Shuttle: Mears Airport Shuttle is available from Orlando International Airport to the Contemporary Resort. Tickets may be purchased at the time of boarding. For return to the airport, the shuttle boards at the entrance of the hotel. Make reservations 24 hours in advance and allow a minimum of 2 hours before flight time.
Taxi - One way taxi fare from the airport to the Contemporary Resort is approximately $55 - $60 USD.
