The IHRIM 2012
networking opportunities (both formal and informal) offer you a
venue where your ideas can mix with those of your peers in the HR
information management community as well as those of industry
thought leaders.
The IHRIM 2012 Conference provides you with a variety of
opportunities to develop and strengthen relationships that will grow

connections. From our opening Get Connected Reception through the
closing luncheon, there is something
for everyone. With the educational sessions, two evening
receptions, daily continental breakfasts and lunches, and the Expo

the Hilton Chicago, networking has never been easier for you!
Networking event tickets for the Get Connected Reception
and Wednesday Evening Reception, breakfast and lunches each day come
with the full registration packages. The one-day registration includes
only events of that day. Individual guest event tickets may be purchased online or on
site for the Get Connected Reception, Wednesday Evening Reception,
Thursday luncheon and HRIM Foundation Party for a Purpose.

First Time Attendees Orientation
Monday, April 30, 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm International Ballroom South,
Second Floor This session is designed for
the first time IHRIM Conference attendee or those who have been away for
awhile. We’ll give you some tips on how to most out of the
conference and allow time to network with other first time attendees
and IHRIM leaders while having some fun.
Get Connected Reception:
A Taste of Chicago
Monday, April 30, 6:00 pm –
7:30 pm
Normandie Lounge, Second Floor Chicago contains some of the most
culturally rich communities in the United States. IHRIM highlights a few of
the 228 named neighborhoods at our opening reception in the Normandie Lounge. Meet with fellow
conference attendees, enjoy hors d’oeuvres and beverages while listening to
Chicago’s most famous musical genre, the Blues.

Extend your IHRIM networking
activities as you enjoy this unique Chicago experience! The Conrad
Hilton suite includes 16-foot lakeview windows and three balconies with
great views of Lake Michigan. The suite has played host to famous guests
such as Tony Blair, Ray Charles, Cher, Joe DiMaggio, Alan Greenspan, Bob
Hope, James Earl Jones, Luciano Pavarotti, Frank Sinatra, and John
Travolta. Event tickets are $100/person (a portion of your ticket is US

Evening Reception: IHRIM and All That Jazz!

Floor Join IHIRM for a
“roaring” good time as we transport you back to Chicago of the 1920's.
World War I had ended, and art, music, and parties seemed to be
everywhere. Major cities like Chicago were booming. It was the time of
flappers and gangsters, Prohibition and speakeasies. Once through the
speakeasy door, you will enjoy hors d'oeuvres,
beverages, music and fun with fellow attendees the
night before the conference ends. Recommended Attire:
Flapper dresses, boas, long pearl necklaces, fans, black or white ties
on a black shirt, spats (white canvas or vinyl shoe covers), fedoras or
gangster hats.

Closing Luncheon

Thursday's closing luncheon provides you with the opportunity to
continue conversations, exchange ideas and discuss what you
saw and heard during the past two and a half days of the
conference.
And don't forget to start each day off right with
breakfast and coffee with your conference colleagues.
Continental breakfast will be
provided Tuesday through Thursday.
Coffee and dessert breaks are also a great opportunity for
