Along with top-notch education, IHRIM's HRMStrategies Conference offers ample opportunities to network with your peers, industry experts and HRMS service providers.  

Make the most of your IHRIM 2008 Conference experience by attending all the special events IHRIM has to offer.  Networking events are free to all registered conference attendees; guest tickets to individual events may be purchased with your registration or onsite. 

First Timers Orientation

This session is designed for the first time IHRIM Conference attendee or those who have been away for awhile. This is your opportunity to mingle with the IHRIM Board of Directors, IHRIM Staff and peers.  There will be an overview of the conference agenda, networking with other first time attendees and IHRIM leaders, and fun.

PirateGet Connected Reception: Yo Ho (A Pirate's Life for Me)

 Ahoy Mateys! IHRIM’s attendees will enjoy our Sunday Get Connected Reception in a pirates’ lair created especially for us. Pirate décor and lighting will be supplemented by a band of pirates singing sea shanties and other favorites to entertain you through the evening. So, gather your pirate hat, gold coins and party beads and join us for complimentary hors d’oeuvres and beverages.
Suggested Dress: Tri-corner hat, black or dark brown leather knee-high boots, long sleeved shirt in white (ruffles preferred), scarlet sash tied around the forehead, black pants, gypsy skirt, colorful beads.

IHRIM provides you with the opportunity to meet other professionals from your area or those interested in the topic. Tables in the Grand Republic Ballroom will be assigned to each Affinity Group along with open tables and all conference registrants are invited.

The Exposition Hall is open for your Lunch on the Go on Monday, June 2.  Enjoy your lunch and explore the exhibits to see the latest innovations from leading industry companies who are showcasing their products, technologies, and services.   

IHRIM's Inaugural HRIM Foundation Fundraising DinnerFireworks

IHRIM is proud to present a special dinner to benefit the HRIM Foundation in Disney's renowned California Grill.  This dinner is not only an important fundraiser for IHRIM’s HRIM Foundation, but an opportunity to enjoy good food, good company and great views of the fireworks over the Magic Kingdom! Dinner tickets are $150.00 ($65.00 of the cost is US tax deductible) and all proceeds benefit the HRIM Foundation, IHRIM’s education foundation.  Dinner tickets are available for purchase on the IHRIM Online Store. epcotTuesday Evening Reception: IHRIM Presents a Night at Epcot Center

Buses will begin to leave the Contemporary Resort at 6:15 pm
World Showcase Pavilion, Epcot Center
Buses will transport you from the Contemporary Resort to the World Showcase Pavilion for food, fun and networking.  But the fun doesn’t end at 8:30 pm when the event does as all IHRIM guests have the opportunity to watch IllumiNations, the fireworks show that takes place in the World Showcase Lagoon.  Then stay for the Extra Magic Hours as Epcot stays open up to three hours after regular Park closing, allowing you to enjoy easy access to select attractions.

IHRIM transforms the Wednesday Continental Breakfast from the “ordinary” to the “extraordinary” with the excitement and magic of classic Disney characters. Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pluto, Goofy, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Chip and Dale will stop by the IHRIM breakfast for a special visit and photo opportunity with our attendees.

Wednesday Closing Luncheon - Industry Networking
