Destination Orlando/Disney World

Orlando is the epicenter of fun and excitement, as more than 95 attractions keep meeting attendees coming back for more. Take the mix of legendary theme parks, spectacular museums, world-class entertainment and blockbuster rides and attractions, and you've got unlimited choices for a one-of-a-kind meeting!  Orlando is home to some of the country's best golf courses -- Walt Disney World alone offers 99 holes, including one with a sand trap shaped like Mickey Mouse -- so enthusiasts will find plenty of places to tee up.

Walt Disney World
Since 1971, Walt Disney World has been one of the top meeting and vacation destinations in the world. With four giant parks full of rides, shows and attractions, visitors can spend days experiencing it all.  And, apart from the four main parks, there are three water parks, a shopping district and countless eateries.

Magic Kingdom
The Magic Kingdom was the first Disney theme park opened in Orlando, and it's also the most famous. The Magic Kingdom uses a "hub and spoke" layout to connect the iconic Cinderella's Castle at its center with the themed lands: Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, Mickey's Toontown Fair, Adventureland, Fronteirland, Liberty Square and Main Street, U.S.A.

Epcot
A trip to Epcot is a trip into the world of tomorrow. The futuristic attractions are fun and educational, and the dining options in the World Showcase area of the park are second-to-none.

Disney-MGM Studios
Disney-MGM Studios is a bustling paean to the Hollywood of your dreams. Its streets are burnished, and its art deco motif sets the stage for some great movie-themed attractions.

Animal Kingdom
Less frantic than the Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom immerses you in its lush, tropical lands and sets the stage for some leisurely hang time with its vast menagerie. Not quite a zoo, not quite a theme park, this Orlando theme park combines the classic rides, shows and attractions that Disney is known for with a completely new Disney animal experience.

Disney's Boardwalk
The Disney Boardwalk area is an entertainment, dining, and shopping complex at Walt Disney World that hugs Crescent Lake, connecting several of the Epcot resorts and within easy walking distance of both Epcot and Disney-MGM Studios. Unique Jersey-shore style live entertainment is also available nightly.

Downtown Disney
With restaurants, shops and more, there's some thing for all ages at Disney's massive entertainment complex.

Disney's Blizzard Beach
Florida sun meets alpine snow in the coolest Water Park around at Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park. Legend has it that a freak snowstorm resulted in Florida's first ski resort, but when temperatures rose, the Florida sun turned the ski runs into water slides. Now, the thrills peak high atop some of the highest slides on earth.

Disney's Typhoon Lagoon
At Disney's Typhoon Lagoon you can dive into an exotic, tropical paradise and escape to high waves of excitement and cool, relaxing fun. The fun takes place at the foot of Mt. Mayday. Body surf in a 2.75-million-gallon wave pool. Zip down awesome body slides. Feeling brave? You can even swim with real, live sharks!

Beyond Walt Disney World
If you think you've done and seen it all at Walt Disney World, Orlando and surrounding areas has lots of surprises in store for you.

Forever Florida -- The 4,700-acre Crescent J Ranch is a nature preserve that offers a chance to see native wildlife, Florida flora, and a working cattle ranch by guided tour.

Gatorland. Located between Orlando and Kissimmee, this throwback park is a great way to spend a half-day. In addition to the animal exhibits, Gator Jumparoo, a signature show since the park opened in 1949, and Gator Wrestlin are worth a look.

Richard Petty Driving Experience -- Vrrrooooommmmmm! If you're 18 or older and have the courage, try driving or at least riding in a real NASCAR rocket at speeds significantly above the legal limit.

Discovery Cove -- SeaWorld's sister park offers guests a chance to rest, relax, and swim with the dolphins in a remote island atmosphere. It's an expensive but ultimately satisfying retreat.

Elsewhere in Central Florida -- The Central Florida Zoo, Orlando Museum of Art, and Orlando Science Center are close enough to incorporate a visit to Winter Park if you choose to make a day of it.
