IHRIM Ambassador Award
The IHRIM Ambassador Award recognizes individuals who are IHRIM members in good standing for significant volunteer contributions within the previous twelve months in support of the Association's mission and goals.
2013 Ambassador Award Winner: Chris Lynch

Chris Lynch
HRIS Supervisor
St. Luke’s Health System
Chris currently oversees all HRIS functions for Compensation, Benefits, Retirement, Employment, Compliance, Training, Employee Health and Organizational Development at St. Luke's Health System, Boise, Idaho.
Chris joined the IHRIM Volunteer Connections Group at the IHRIM 2012 Conference when, as a new member, he recognized the importance of getting involved and the benefits it provides him and IHRIM. He put that commitment to work, signing up for two volunteer projects: new member contacts and social media contributor.
As a new member welcome volunteer, his role is to contact new members within the first 30-45 days of joining – welcoming them to IHRIM, answering any questions they might have about the Association and explaining the benefits of their membership. He takes the time to network with fellow HRIS/HRIM colleagues, learning what systems they use, finding out challenges they are facing and sharing his thoughts.
In his social media contributor role, he encourages member engagement and markets IHRIM via CORE, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
Chris is enthusiastic about IHRIM and projects this energy in his volunteer roles, establishing networking connections and encouraging the exchange of information and ideas for which IHRIM is famous. |
